Comparisons

"The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life." Job 33:4

All too often I find myself thinking my life should be a certain way and I should have certain accomplishments because, well, all of my peers do. The thing is is if we allow ourselves to compare ourselves to those around us we get stuck in a cycle, rotating over and over again and getting no where. And the cost of comparison reaches an all time high. You spend time and money to look and seem or sound a certain way, like those people you're comparing yourself to, but in real life you end up broken and empty inside. You don't have to do this and if you're doing it, you don't have to keep doing it.

Take time for yourself. Putting away the envy can bring you closer to the things that really matter like family, friends, and most importantly, God. Find things that make you happy and things you like.

I read this online written by Rachel Cruze , "Content people don't always have the best of everything, but they make the best of everything." Be content with what you have. People always say, "Money can't buy happiness," and they are absolutely right. Although, money can buy tacos and tacos make me happy-- but only for about 5 minutes. Then there are regrets. (LOL) On that note, do something you know you won't regret later.

Be different. Be happy. Have joy. Enjoy life and everyone around you, because at the end of the day, that's all that matters; are you happy? God made you the way you are, who you are for a reason and He put you in whatever place you are in for a reason. NEVER forget that. You are loved by the Almighty. Nothing that you do will change that. Always stay humble and kind.
